Real tools. Real projects. Real confidence.
SBG Skills Academy teaches kids ages 7 and up to safely use real tools and build projects they're proud to take home. No experience needed, and we bring all the tools.
- Ages 7 and up
- Safety first, always
- No experience needed
- We bring all the tools
A real shop class, built for kids.
Kids learn to measure, saw and assemble with real hand tools, with safety first. Every kid leaves with something they built themselves.
Measure
Reading a tape, marking a line and checking it twice: the first skill every builder learns.
Saw
Using a real hand saw the safe way, with the right grip, the right stance and a steady hand.
Assemble
Putting the pieces together with hammers and screwdrivers into a project that's all their own.
The right challenge for every age.
Fun and simple
Younger builders keep it fun and simple: easy projects, plenty of guidance, and the thrill of making something real with their own hands.
Real skill-building
Older kids go further with real skill-building: more technique, more independence, and projects that take real skill to finish.
We're bringing shop class back.
SBG Skills Academy teaches kids practical tool skills, problem-solving and confidence through simple building projects. It's the kind of hands-on learning most schools no longer offer, and it gives kids an early look at the skilled trades.

Good to know before your child starts.
What ages is the Academy for?
Kids ages 7 and up. Ages 7 to 9 keep it fun and simple, and kids 10 and up move into more real skill-building.
Does my child need any experience?
No experience is needed. We start with the basics and build from there.
What do they need to bring?
Nothing. We bring all the tools.
How do you keep kids safe?
Safety comes first in every class. Kids learn how to handle each tool safely before they use it, and projects are matched to their age group.
What will my child bring home?
Something they built themselves, and the confidence that comes with it.
Real tools. Real projects. Real confidence.
